AquaSpec Commercial Faucets -

Lead-Free**
Zurn Chrome
Architects, Engineers and
Owners alike prefer the superior finish of Zurn products! We have continued this
tradition -- ZURN Aquaspec Commercial Faucets set a new standard for beauty and
durability in faucet design! All faucets are
manufactured with a two-stage process: Automatic polishing is followed with a
custom hand polishing before applying the special chrome finish as featured on
ZURN Chrome Products!
Cast-Brass Bodies
Unlike many of our
competitors that use copper or even plastic waterways covered by a thin metal
shell, ZURN Aquaspec Commercial Faucet bodies
are constructed of SOLID LEAD FREE CAST BRASS! Solid Cast-Brass
construction means extremely long life and durability.
Brass Body Ceramic Discs

Zurn Aquaspec faucets use a HEAVY-DUTY ceramic disc cartridge -- Unlike
many competitors, NO PLASTIC IS USED ON THE BODY OR STEM
-- Both the Stem and Caseing are constructed of Brass for superior strength and
dependability!
Interchangeability
Building owners love Aquaspec faucets because all major components
including spouts, handles and internal cartridges are interchangeable, allow the
owner to meet changing applications and requirements in the future!
ADA Code Compliance
Aquaspec faucets are designed to comply with the Americans With
Disabilities Act. The smooth operating ceramic disc and a wide variety of handle
options offers compliance for numerous applications.
**About ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Section 9 -
DONT BE FOOLED! If a manufacturer advises
you that they are NSF Standard 61 "compliant" you may be being misled. We
recommend that specifiers insist only on "NSF CERTIFIED" faucets for their
projects to ENSURE compliance.
"NSF Certifies products through an extensive
evaluation and testing process that ensures the faucets meet a series of
stringent requirements. NSF requires a full disclosure from the manufacturer
about the materials in the faucet. NSF verifies this information by conducting
an inspection of the manufacuring facility. NSF toxicologists review each
material's formulation for any potential harmful contaminants. NSF then tests
the faucet and its component parts to the requirements of NSF Standard 61,
Section 9, to ensure that none of these contaminants are added to drinking water
above allowable levels . . ."

Ask for documented proof that the faucets you specify are "NSF Certified", not
simply "NSF Compliant" or "Lead Free." (See the nsf website for a full listing
of certified products.)
